4 Common Entry Points for Mice

Garages are a favorite nesting spot for mice, since they are usually warm and dry and often have plenty of food in the form of bird seed, grass seed, and pet food. Once inside the garage, it's easy for a mouse to get inside your home, so take care to keep the door closed when not in use, and to make sure all of the windows and doors are fully sealed. 


4. Windows and Thresholds

Mice have very unique bodies that allow them to squeeze through tiny openings — an adult mouse can get through a hole as small as a dime. Any gaps around windows or at the bottom of doors can allow rodents inside, as well as other pests.
